Basketball

For the 2022-2023 season, we will have a Middle School, Junior Varsity team, and a Varsity team. The MS and V teams compete in GAPPS and all 3 teams will travel to Easley, SC to play in the Palmetto Homeschool Championships 
 
Middle School (sanctioned by GAPSS):
Coached by Jeff VanDeMark
Grades 5-8 
This is a great team to start younger players. They will learn all of the positions and have lots of playing time as we work to prepare them for higher levels of competition as they get older and more experienced. Because the MS is sanctioned by GAPPS (Georgia Association of Private and Parochial Schools), this team will have the opportunity for post-season tournament play (regionals, state, etc).
 
Junior Varsity:
Coached by Jason McIlvain
Grades 9-10 (select 7th-8th graders may be tapped to play "up")
This team is for more experienced middle schoolers and less experienced high schoolers who aren't yet ready for the intensity of Varsity-level competition.
 
Varsity (sanctioned by GAPPS):
Coached by Jeff VanDeMark
Grades 9-12 (select 8th graders may be tapped to play "up")
This team is our most competitive team and players for this team will be expected to be leaders and strong athletes with several years of basketball experience. This team is sanctioned by GAPPS, so there is an opportunity to play in the post-season tournament (regionals, state, etc).
 
Registration (completed via the HALO website) is required by October 15th, 2022.
Team fees are $475 per player.
