The 2021-2022 season has set the bar. Coming off a program best 25-6 record, which included a GAPPS State Championship and Palmetto Homeschool Championship, the returners have big shoes to fill. The program saw 5 seniors graduate last season. This includes the top 3 scorers, including program career points, rebounds, and blocks leader Rett VanDeMark. The program also lost steady PG and 2nd leading scorer Aiden Allen, 3rd leading scorer and top 3 point shooter Levi Rumble, high energy/never quit power forward Nate Grogan, and super sub Will Hornsby.
The 2022-2023 team will be handed to the only returning starter Matt Roberts. He was a GAPPS All State player last year while averaging 3 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists per game in the 2021-2022 campaign. He will be joined by rising senior Caleb Stockdale, rugged small forward JJ Smith (Sophmore), and rising Jr Trey Richardson. The progression of the underclassmen will be huge as the season approaches.
The program is defintely on the upswing and we look forward to seeing who wants to come and join the Pack
