Our Classes
At Halo Academy, we believe that education should be both unique and fun, providing a friendly environment where students thrive. Our holistic approach ensures that all aspects of learning are covered, from rigorous core classes to innovative electives and trade options. We are proud to be Christ-centered, guiding our students as they explore their passions while adhering to a classical educational model. Join us in shaping well-rounded individuals ready to take on the world!
Our K-7 program, Roots @ HALO Academy, is divided into four groups: K-1, 2-3, 4-5, and 6-7, and covers four different Tracks. Each track provides themed material for that year. Small class sizes provide a specialized environment where children are comfortable learning with their peers.
Our core curriculum for grades 8–12 is designed to challenge, inspire, and prepare students for success in high school, college, and beyond. With a strong focus on English, math, science, and social studies, students build essential skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. Taught by passionate educators, our classes balance academic rigor with real-world relevance to help every student thrive. Grades 8-12 are an a la carte program. HALO meets once a week, sometimes twice a week, and most students take four or more classes out of six.
Our Intro to Trades program offers students in grades 9–12 a hands-on exploration of high-demand careers in skilled trades. From construction and automotive technology to welding, electrical work, and more, students develop practical skills while gaining insight into real-world industries. This course empowers students to discover their strengths, explore career pathways, and make informed decisions about life after graduation.
Our elective courses offer students the opportunity to go beyond core academics and pursue personal interests while building valuable life skills. With options like cosmetology, drama, personal finance, and even archery, students can discover new talents, gain hands-on experience, and develop confidence in a supportive and engaging environment.
