Service Description

This will be an introductory course exploring several famous American and British authors. Students will read a variety of texts—some heavy, some lighthearted, some old books, and some newer authors. Students will learn more about the historical setting of the book as well as a study of literary devices used by the author. We will use class discussions and activities to deepen students understanding of the text and vocabulary. Students will complete a literature packet for every book. Some books will have additional essays and/or projects due.
